Gathering is a profession that allows players to harvest Mother Nature's goodies from regions of diverse environments in Meridia.

Gathering is available after completion of the quest Lv21. Miners, Not Minors! in which an Arcadia Supply Crate containing Beginner's Gathering Tools is awarded.

Mechanics

Example of a Quick-Time Event

Outside of Quick-Time Events, no action needs to be done by the player, and Gathering is fully automated. Players will only need to double-click a bush of Wild Plants and wait.

Quick-Time Events

Quick-Time Events, abbreviated as QTE, are randomly-occurring events that require a player to input special keys in order to garner in higher-grade loot. There is a time limit of only a few seconds, which can be increased via equipping certain Gathering Toolss.

	Hoarder	15 - 19	Gathering Proficiency Lv1: Slightly increases your professional EXP gain while gathering.
	Connoisseur	20 - 24	Gathering Technique Lv2: Slightly enhances your Gathering Tools.
	Antiquarian	25 - 29	Gathering Knowledge Lv2: Slightly increases the size of the items you gather.
	Curio	30 - 34	Gathering Proficiency Lv2: Slightly increases your professional EXP gain while Gathering.
	Appraiser	35 - 39	Gathering Technique Lv3: Slightly enhances your Gathering Tools.
	Master Angler	40 - 44	Gathering Knowledge Lv3: Slightly increases the size of the fish you catch.
	Conservator	45 - 49	Gathering Proficiency Lv3: Slightly increases your professional EXP gain while Gathering.
	Steward	50	Gathering Technique Lv4: Slightly enhances your Gathering Tools.
